Spanish Immersion Retreat at Casa Taos
For Intermediate Spanish Learners
June 12th to June 17th.
As a former bilingual teacher and native Spanish speaker Betty Artes is offering an inspiring and educational Spanish Immersion workshop at Casa Taos, combining the talents in the area to create a rich language and cultural environment. The experiences make learning much easier and meaningful.
The five day retreat is comprised of living at Casa Taos, and participating in the daily activities such as Cooking, Hiking, Soaking, Story Telling, Visiting local artist’s studios, Viewing Movies, Museum Visits, Hosting Local folks for dinner to discuss local issues and much more. All in Spanish!
The Taos Area lends itself to these types of activities and personal exchanges as most local folks are bilingual and enjoy conversing in Spanish. Even a trip to the local grocery store is a cultural and language expanding experience.
The Cost of $750.00 per person, includes lodging at Casa Taos (private room), all meals, all activities and instruction.
The class size will be held to a minimum of 4 and maximum of 6.
An individual interview is strongly recommended to assess language level and personal interests to be integrated into the week’s activities.
